Goodnight Moon Link Up: wk 8 and Lots of tears

Let me tell you I have been really proud of myself for taking this deployment so well and not having a pity party or complaining hardly at all.(other than a few I miss him tons moments.) I have done great, this week wasn't so great, have you ever gone strong for so long and then at some point you feel as though you just hit a brick wall ??

Well that moment happened this week, I broke down hard, I have hit an all time low emotionally and all I can say is "I just want him HOME".  I'm trying to be strong but it seems every time he comes to mind tears arrive like clockwork shortly after. EVERY song in the world seems to make me cry and cry. Now mind you I am NOT a crier so this whole emotional stuff is kind of new.  I have never been this emotional !! Every little detail reminds me of my man. I can't seem to focus at all and its not even PMS .. what gives here... I have exactly 4 weeks left of school and I'm trying to focus but I can't.  I don't know what else to say other than I miss my man more than words can say and I can't stop crying.

My song of course is a sad one and I'm crying as I listen to it... sorry for having a sad post but I figure you all understand... we all have our moments .. and this is mine

PS. and I also missed a call from my man.... he was down and wanted to hear my voice and I was in class :(

  1. I hope the happy overcomes the sad soon. But I TOTALLY know where you're coming from. I am not a big crier, either...until deployment comes around. I always find myself crying at random times during deployments--like standing in the soda aisle crying because I won't buy Coke for 7 months. It's tough.

Nice to "meet" you! Keep your head up and stay Semper Fabulous!

  2. I know what you mean about the water-works, except I really AM a crier, so I was kinda used to it by the time I hit my first 'deployment blues'. The good news is, it gets better. You'll find the strength (and focus) needed to carry on, and he will be back before you know it.

    Hang in there!

  3. We have ALL been there! You can only be strong for so long before the simpliest thing makes you feel weak and you just lose it. Your allowed to feel that way! Deployments kick you down and like to spit on you from time to time. Your doing good girl! We are all here to help you get through it!

I love this song!!!!!!! Sending you hugs girlie! Thanks for linking up again this week!

  4. Awww hun! This post made me so sad, but I know exactly how you feel cause that was me a few days ago. My husband deployed two weeks ago for his second deployment since last year. It wasn't so bad at first and then it really hit me how long he would be gone, and sometimes it's just overwhelming. I literally cried myself to sleep on monday night, cause I just missed him like hell. Sometimes you need a good cry, even if your not the crying type. ;) Anyway, I hope you feel better and thanks for following me! I'm excited to read more and get to know you a little better!

I have not gone through a deployment, but I will be there soon enough. I hope you keep up the good spirit, and everyone has their moments. AND I am sorry you missed a call. Put that phone on vibrate and put it in your pocket! Lol :)

  7. WOW !! Thank you ladies for all your encouragement !!! I truly feel Like I have a great support group. I hope I get to meet each and every one of you someday.. that is my dream. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who has those cry like a baby moments. Its been a tough 5 almost 6 months since I've seen his face and I have more months to go yet. I know I'll make it.

  8. Stay strong girly, and know that we are all here for you to lean on. My bloggy loves were a big part of what got me through our first deployment last year, and now they are all helping me get through the second! If we stick together we can make it through anything! :) Keep your chin up and don't forget to smile!

  9. Hey girl! I am following you right back. Reading your blog...omg you remind me of me in some ways lol. Its so funny your dating a Marine and your brother is also a Marine like me, crazyiness lol. Anyways I hope you have a great day, and just remember to stay strong. I know its hard and it sucks, but that moment you get him back makes it so worth it. All those sad feelings just fade away. Keep your chin up and if you ever need anything you can email me stephanie.nicole09@yahoo.com. :)
